Mike Patton

Mike Patton is an American singer, composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist.

He is best known as the lead singer of the multi-platinum rock band Faith No More, and he has also performed as lead vocalist/founder of the bands Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, Fantômas and Peeping Tom. Mike Patton has earned critical praise for his diverse vocal styles, which touch on crooning, falsetto, death growls, rapping, mouth music, beatboxing and scatting, among other techniques.

Music critic and author Greg Prato writes, "Patton could very well be one of the most versatile and talented singers in rock music."

He often produces side projects in collaboration with other musicians such as Björk, Norah Jones, John Zorn, Rahzel, Dan the Automator, The Melvins, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Massive Attack, Fennesz, Amon Tobin, Eyvind Kang, Kid Koala and Kaada.

Mike Patton has also scored film soundtracks, provided voiceovers for films and video games and co-founded the record label Ipecac Recordings with manager Greg Werckman.

Mike Patton continuously tours, bringing all of his projects to audiences around the world.

His summer 2010 appearances included sold out Faith No More reunion concerts in the US and Europe, a performance at the Holland Festival in Luciano Berio?s concert chamber opera ?Laborintus II? and Mondo Cane performances at music and film festivals in the UK, Italy, Poland, Switzerland, Israel and Russia.
